Privacy Policy
OAList ("we", "us") is a daily deals service for Amazon sellers. Chris Mangunza runs it alongside The Scaling Society (ngunza.com) and Arbitrage Stalker (arbitragestalker.com). This policy covers oalist.com and app.oalist.com. We collect what we need to run the service, and we don't sell your data.
What we collect
- Account information: your email address and your plan.
- Billing information: Fanbasis, our payment processor, handles your card. We don't see or store your full card number.
- Usage data: when you log in, the pages you open and the parts of the service you use.
- Visit data, described below under "One record across our brands."
- Messages you send us, such as support emails.
How we use it
- To run the service and send your login links and the alerts you set up.
- To process payments and manage your plan.
- To learn which videos, posts and sites bring people to us.
- To keep the service secure.
One record across our brands
We run three brands: OAList, The Scaling Society (ngunza.com) and Arbitrage Stalker (arbitragestalker.com), and we keep one record of your visits across all three. This site gives your browser a random ID in a cookie named oa_aid. Each time you open a page, we log that ID, the page, what sent you (an ad, a video, an email or another site), your IP address, and your browser and device type. A link from one of our sites to another carries a coded copy of the ID when you click it, so we know both IDs belong to the same browser. Once you sign up or log in, we connect the ID to your account and add your logins, use of the service and payments to the same record. We use it to learn which videos, posts and sites bring people to us, and to keep each brand's sales separate. We keep it on our own servers and don't sell it, and we delete the raw IP addresses in it after 90 days.
Cookies
We use a sign-in cookie to keep you logged in, two cookies that remember which link first and last brought you here (oa_ft and oa_lt), and the oa_aid cookie described above. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but you can't log in without the sign-in cookie.
Service providers
- Fanbasis, for payments.
- Email providers such as SendGrid, to send login links, alerts and the other email you asked for.
- Vercel and DigitalOcean, which host the site and the service.
- Our other brands, The Scaling Society and Arbitrage Stalker, as described above.
We do not sell your personal information.
Data retention
We keep your information while your account is open, and after that only as long as the law requires. Email us to delete it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, a correction, or deletion: email support@oalist.com. You can cancel your plan at any time.
Children
OAList is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this policy, we post the new version here with a new date.
